Any goods or bad's with this unit?? I'm a Diesel guy , happy it has one. looks kind of wimpy, comments please. I plugged it in got to 56 degrees on the block, not bad but....

Our middle son lives in Winnipeg. We got a block heater installed in our 2022, in case we need to drive up there in the winter. Haven't had to use it yet...

My '23 is from Canada. It has a block heater but I have yet to use it.

I dislike how the plug needs to be accessed by popping the hood. I assume you cannot fully latch the hood when it's plugged into an extension cord, so I worry since we don't have a safety latch on our hoods I have a concern about wind catching the hood on a cold blustery night and blowing it up.
