Is there a way to turn down the chime for the lift gate? Our son was sitting in the back and said it was really loud, we kind of shrugged it off as he was just being our son lol but then I was sitting in the back and it is really loud compared to the front. Would be nice to turn it down. Thanks

I haven’t seen any way to do that, it’s not possible.

The lift gate chime on my ST works erratically. If I leave the gate open for awhile it doesn't chime at all when closing it later. Other times when only briefly opened it chimes normally, but other occasions the chime sounds like it's only playing in the front of the vehicle and the sound is muted in the back. It is inconsistent and I never know what it's going to do every time I open and close the hatch.

Try turning the volume knob down while the chime is sounding.

I believe these chimes can be turned off via ForScan. I briefly made note of this when I was browsing the ForScan tuning thread and was trying to decide if i wanted to eliminate them or not. I'll have to search back and see if I can find them.

EDIT: Yes, it appears it can be done via ForScan. However I note that you have a '25 and this discussion is 20-24's. The process may be different to remove them via ForScan

I would never turn my warning chimes off. That hatch has always had a mind of its own and opens when you walk by the foot sensor for the hands-free liftgate and sometimes even closes while you're standing in front of it rearranging cargo! OUCH!
