Howdy,

Have only had my 2025 ST a few days, and noted that my music on my thumb drive backtracks when I turn the vehicle off. Every other vehicle I've had always picks up where the music left off at. I scanned the owners manual and tried a search on this forum without success. Anyone have any ideas about this? Thanks in advance.

Could it be it's because it isn't setup for music to play randomly. I haven't had this problem with my ST, but I did experience it once before and the music would always start at the beginning whenever turned on. Switching the settings to random fixed the problem for me. That was in a Nissan.

Seems to be time sensitive. I use the random setting, and if I'm out to the vehicle a relatively short time, it'll pick up where it left off. More than a half an hour or so, and it's back to track #1, and the random setting has cleared. I turn the random setting back on, and it starts selecting the same music it has recently played. Just the other day, the music stopped, and the USB port was not being recognized. Wiggled the thumb drive, and it began again. Noted the thumb drive was very warm. Hmm
