Hello ST owners! I've had my 2025 ST for a couple of weeks and I have two questions about the infotainment system:

1. When I started the vehicle, the infotainment screen did not load. I had to hold down the power button and the seek button on the steering wheel for 10 seconds for a reset. Has that happened to anyone? What may have caused that?

2. I have a USB flash drive with music. I like my concerts, but the infotainment system only plays music in alphabetic order. I've formatted the flash drive to FAT32, tried to create .m3u playlists (works on PC, not in the ST .

Are there any recommendations with my above situation and the flash drive?

Thank you!

I've found the infotainment system difficult to navigate simply because there are far, far too many options, choices, and features. At some point our world needs to realize not all people live and die by cell phones and somebody else's fancy tech ideas that will change to someone else's fancy tech ideas with the next version.

Now that I've got that rant out of my system, LOL.. when I put my usb music on, there is a menu to play the way you want. It's just a matter of finding it. I think you can also do it via voice commands.

I found this video helpful and found out a few things I never would have known otherwise:

I believe I figured out the USB flash drive and how songs do not play in order. The infotainment system reads the title of the song, not the file name. So, if you change the title of the song to begin with 01, 02, 03, ...you will be good-to-go:

I used Mp3tag:
  • Open Mp3tag.
  • Select all your files (Ctrl + A).
  • Press Shift + Alt + 6 to open Actions (Quick).
  • Choose Action type: Format value.
  • Set:
    • Field: TITLE
    • Format string: %_filename%
  • Click OK.

Yes, I think that's the only way to do it. Mine last two Explorers always played in alphabetical order by song title also.
