I don’t like the 25 ST’s at all.
Ouch.
I'm assuming you mean the new look? Because the tech on the 25 is much improved. I mean the thing literally drives itself and the infotainment system is not even a comparison. Also it basically has the same drivetrain.

I don’t care for them either. Interior is worse to me, no leather, 1-bolt rear end on all of them, and exterior differences are meh to me. I would never trust Bluecruise either. Not worth the money to upgrade. Drivetrain is the same, and the new electronic wastegate is neat, it just doesn’t catch my attention like the older years.

You might want to try sitting in the 25 Platinum's leather massaging seat, while watching your favorite youtube video on the 13.2" horizontal screen and then re-assess that statement. ;)
But, I actually prefer my "leather trimmed" seats over the full leather. They grip you better in turns, and don't transfer extreme temperatures like leather can.

When the 2025s came out I was the first to rush to sit in one. Didn’t change my mind at all, I’d take my ‘22 hands down still. Like I said, tech wise it doesn’t matter to me, once I jailbreak my 10.1” screen I’ll be perfectly happy with the system.

Yep…I’m always low key shopping for a 2019 Golf R. I don’t like the 25 ST’s at all…can’t see building another one.
I'd love to find a nice, low mile, unmolested Spektrum Golf R. Probably won't ever happen for under 50K though.

I had a blast in my Mk8 GTI. Stage 3 Unitronic with the Pmax and a splash of E85.....she was spicy.

unnamed (7).jpg Back on topic....the buy and build rate for 2025 RCSB Mexican GTR's is going to go nuts now!

We had a 40AE and now an ‘24 SE. It’s the wifeys daily so nothing real fun. Wife spec Hypergrams with 245’s, JB4, debadged and tint and that’s about it. Still fun to rip around on the weekends.

I started out with a JB4 on both of my Mk8's. Great bang for the buck, until you consider that EQT, Unitronic, Strat, ect....... can blow that away for not much more money.

I bought the white S model when VW announced that the manual would be going away in 2024. Having nearly 500 hp in a 3200 pound hatch was awesome.....as long as the front radar was covered to fully deactivate the DSC. The VA wanted to replace my left ankle, so I stripped it back to stock and traded my retirement gift for a 40AE with the DSG since I was scared about operating the stage 4 Ringer clutch. I had that car dialed on Cygnus coilovers and fixed all the MK8's shortcomings. It was a hoot on the RT660's at NCM for a time trials event last year. The DSG car was fun in a different way....but I kept it mostly stock and only had it for a couple months when we found out that my wife has fibromyalgia. That explained why she could never get comfortable in those cars. So I dumped my GTI for a King Ranch F150 since my wife loved the seats and started the shopping process to replace her Kia. She eventually chose the Aviator after she fell in love with the 30 way adjustable massage seats.

Here is a pic of my second GTI......my son is still mad about getting rid of both of them since he got his permit a couple months after trading it. :ROFLMAO:
