Hi guys,

I'm a bit late but I purchased my gray 2026 Explorer ST about a month ago. So far the only mods I've done so far is ceramic window tints and resonator delete with MRT H-pipe.

Since you have gone the H-Pipe route like I did, you might want to consider changing out those goofy looking, virtually useless exhaust tips for a better appearance.

I 'am actually planning on doing this among a list of other mods. The only thing is I'm also considering if I want to change the mufflers as well to smaller ones but with the same design as stock. The goal is to increase the sound slightly (10-25%) without changing much of the tone. I just don't know if that theory will give me the results I'm looking for. Lul.

@Slick10 : Unfortunately there is only one YouTube out there now that actually addresses the sound of a Resonator Delete H-Pipe install on the ST's.

When you get a chance, jump over to the "Exhaust Tip Questions" thread where you will see @drcookie , @Leadfoot and I have been discussing exhaust tips on the ST's. I loved the looks of @drcookie's application of WESDON Stainless Steel Tips so I got some for me. At this point I am not 100% sure which complete exhaust system upgrade I will end up getting (know a lot about BORLA from previous 2 Mustangs but also love the Thermal R&D 2.5"s) in the future. My main issue is the "Fake Engine Noise" that is pumped into our interiors. I do not want to install a really nice system until one of our more learned members here figures it out or FORD brakes down and tells us how to PERMANENTLY disable that silly nuisance WITHOUT causing collateral damage/problems to other systems in the vehicle. Until then, I have the look I wanted.
