Not saying this will be the answer for your specific situation. I have had the drain tubing from the sun/moon roof either become plugged or disconnected from the trough around the sun roof frame. That causes the water to come down inside the "A" pillar near the windshield and accumulate on the floor mat below the glove box. I have also seen leaks generate from cracked, dried out or otherwise unusable rubber sealing material around the windshield. Troubleshooting will drive you nuts. Hope this helps.
