Forscan and charger question

I looked around and couldn't find a good answer to this:

I have a 2025 ST job 2, and want to setup to use Forscan for a few things documented in this forum. This Post , talks about using a Battery tender/maintainer while using Forscan. While this other post states to use a good battery charger that puts out 15 amps.

I currently have a CTEK (40-206) MXS 5.0-12 Volt Battery Charger and Maintainer (link). Will this be sufficient while using Forscan? Or should I purchase a regular charger with 15 amps?

thanks!

I didn’t use a battery tender at all, and it went just fine.

Config changes take no time at all. Unless you are doing module updates (which few of us are), there is no need for a battery charger/maintainer with Forscan IMHO.
