Ford connectivity ?

Just purchased 2025 ST. Had no idea Ford replaced sync system. First impression, not impressed. The connectivity package is expired and I have no navigation system. Should I renew that or use waze or android auto? Really liked the sync 3 in my 2017 limited navigation system. Which direction do I need to turn to simulate the sync 3 navigation?

You still needed to pay for navigation on Sunc3. You can’t simulate Sync3 because the new system is a Google based system, it’s not even Sync4.

Connect your phone using Android Auto or Apple Carplay & use that for navigation. That's what I use on our 25 ST and 22 F250.

Tried, asks to allow Google maps to use location. Allowed that but still no luck.
Does phone need to have android auto?

Yes, that is what I have. Does Google give you pics of exitss like sync does? That was very helpful

Yes, it does. If I remember correctly, it is exactly the same as what the connected version is.

Do you have ford connectivity package?
I do not have that. Can't get any search results.
Signed into google account and suddenly have a suitcase and home icon on the home screen that I can get rid of.
Do you have to have the connectivity package to use google maps?
