Floor Liner Question

I have the Ford floor liners which fit great, but I find it odd that the front passenger has a spot for post like the drivers side (which has 2) yet there is nothing in the floor to attach it to. Even all the aftermarket ones I have looked at show this same post hole. Was this post in the 2020 and Ford removed it for 2021 to save the $.05 per vehicle? It's a bit annoying since the hole in the mat allows stuff to get under it!

Yes, I have a 2020 and it has the post. You will need to find some type of plug for it.

Thanks for the response... That's just stupid that Ford removed that! I did find a plug just recently, it makes no sense why they removed that.
