This is old news but looks like I never posted it in the forum! Been slacking I guess

Huge congratulations to Brad Hampton for making history and resetting the bar for the platfor

FIRST EVER 3.0L EcoBoost Explorer IN THE 9s

9.88 @ 132 MPH
Read that again… a 3.0L Explorer officially in the 9s.
This setup is a perfect example of what the platform is capable of when everything is dialed in:
• Stock turbos

• Built transmission – Midnight Performance
• Stage X fuel system - Nostrum High Performance
• Intake, exhaust & intercooler - CT MOTOR FAB

No shortcuts—just the right combination of parts, calibration, a lot of weight reduction and proper execution. Brad has continued to push the limits every time out, and this pass proves it.
At ZFG Racing LLC, we’ve always said these platforms had more in them… and this is exactly what that looks like.
The bar just got raised—again.

There is a lot going on with the car for future, stock turbos have been replaced, roll cage added, glass windows back in since everyone had a fit about the whopping 50# those saved and more. Hopping to have Brad dialed into a 9.50 car!

It really is, even i didn't expect it. It's still surprises me that we're able to 60 ft like this with the Trans brake that was probably one of the most Progressive pieces to this puzzle.
