I have had my Explorer for about 3 months now and love this thing. My '02 F150 Harley Davidson edition had the motor want way too much that I wanted to put in it and we'll it was time. Got mine with just 21k on the clock. Other than some sun damage on the headlights and the rear spoiler it is super clean.

Well, the mod bug already hit me and I ordered a tuner for just the 93 tune. I feel like these twin turbocharged machines need at least 93 for the best performance. Also, an intercooler is on the way too. I would love exhaust but the wife is like he'll no. Or at least for now. I did drop in a K&N filter.

Is the massive advice what my next move should be? I was thinking about the Fenfab v2 intake but I also want the lowering kit for the sport aggressive look.

Anyway I am looking forward to having fun leaving the base and giving the sports cars a run for their money. 20250912_141106.jpg

A ZFG Tune is the biggest thing, alongside a intercooler, so you got that covered. Lowering springs and spacers would be my next recommendation.

If you haven't looked into the forscan mods, that would be a good area to look into.

Like you, my wife said absolutely not to an exhaust. So my performance upgrades will be an Intercooler, upgraded pipes, intake, then a tune. Then when it's time, colder spark plugs.

Visually, I just did a tint, debadged the car, and am considering paint protection items but nothing serious.

Some other miscellaneous items as well but are all preference.
