Could anyone recommend 4" exhaust tips that was discussed in a post for modding the Explorer?
I know the stock would be cut off and the new tips need to be reduced to fit on existing remaining pipe. Looking for black or carbon color

4” OD with a 2.25” inlet about 9” long…eBay is full of them.
Hello! Would your recommendation be a simple upgrade? With the existing exhaust tips with the opening towards the floor, I am looking to just have those tips swapped with something modern or whatever are the popular tips to replace factor ones. I've never done exhaust work before, but the existing tips are not to my liking.

Simple to me but I can also weld. If you can’t or don’t have access it’s simple for any muffler shop.

I just had the Thermal R&D 3" installed and I have to advise you to save for it, and not go the cheap route (if that's what you're doing). That exhaust sounds amazing at WOT. Also on the Thermal R&D, if you don't like it loud, go with the 2.5".

Hello! Nah, I am only looking to replace the tips. Someone mentioned Carbon Fiber tips. I am not looking to modify the exhaust beyond the tips.
