I have a 2025 Explorer Platinum
Problem with the Digital Gauge Cluster:

Customizable Display:
Drivers can customize the information displayed, including speed, RPM, fuel levels, trip information, and driver assistance settings.
Every couple of days, (especially when it hot 100o+), the customizable display drops a couple of screens. I know you can only add seven different screens, and I use all seven.
But, it keeps dropping out these same screens:
  • Calm View
  • Driver Assistance
  • Map View (possible I can’t remember)
  • Temperature Gauges
I had them back in, and then hit the memory function.
Any thoughts?

Thank you in advance,
Wayne

I have the exact same behavior with my 2025 ST.
Every couple of days I need to bring back the temp gauge...
I thought it was related to saving it to my driver profile alongside seat position, etc but that did not fix it.

I experienced this problem during the first month of ownership, and then it resolved itself. The problem no longer occurs. The only explanation I can think of is the new vehicle is downloading and installing software updates during downtime. Every time an update is completed, it resets some settings. I was noticing the setting changes mostly occured overnight, which is when the updates had enough time to complete.

I could be wrong, but that's all I got. I don't experience the problem anymore after months of ownership.

Yeah, I know. I've went through all the same steps.I'm going to take it to the dealer, but on my explorer it is an intermittent problem. So it is probably going to be difficult to find.

Yeah, I'm hoping it is a software issue. My software installs at 1:00am, but I believe you can customize that time.
I'm thinking about taking it in to the dealer. But, my problem is intermittent, so it might be difficult to locate the problem.

I just had some work do on the BCM, ' Body Control Module', a connector wasn't seated all the way. Maybe it has something to do with that?
The C2280B connector on a 2025 Ford Explorer BCM is located behind the glove box on the passenger side. It's a black connector, according to a technical guide.
Thanks, Wayne
