I've installed a set of CV Fab downpipes sized for factory midpipes, though I have the lethal oem replacement mids that I had to expand the fronts to fit my stock downpipes. My question is what size clamp is needed for the downpipe to midpipe connection?
I want to put in lap joint clamps, but I have tried 2.25" and 2.5" and neither fit. At this point I am guessing 2.75" but it would be great to know the correct size before I buy more. I thought they were smaller than 3" because the 3" was an "upgrade" for aftermarket exhaust sizes which I don't have.
I plan to put The lap clamps on the midpipe to rear exhaust too, and I figure either the 2.25 or 2.5 will fit that connection.
