Cruise lane centering

2022 ST while using cruise and centering in will say cancelled and ring but it never really cancels…it continues to work.
Is it normal?

On my 2020, whenever the camera loses a line for too much time, such as passing a wide driveway, interstate exit, or construction, it will ring and say it cancelled, turning the missing line orange. It really never cancels the lane centering, but instead turns it off temporarily until it reacquires the line. Then it works as normal. It rings to alert the driver that the lane centering cannot operate due to the missing road line.
