Hands Free driving - wow!
I really enjoyed the BlueCruise evaluation period with my new 2025 ST, but it went by too fast. If there truly were a one-time cost, I would have paid it - only subscription.

Here's an observation, which some of you out there may have also noted: Adaptive Cruise appears to be one "Keep Hands On Wheel" alert away from a fully hands free BlueCruise type experience. When I let go of the wheel, it stays in the lane, keeps safe distance from car in front, and FEELS so much like BlueCruise - then the "Keep Hands On Wheel" alert pops up, becoming angrier every second I don't grab the wheel.

Wonder if there is an adjustment I could make through FORScan to disable the alert? Thoughts?

Lane Keeping System is not a hands free driver assist. It’s not something you can change via Forscan either. It is not programmed nor good enough to deal with driving by itself. My thoughts? It’s not smart in the slightest.

Steering assist in Adaptive mode is an 'assist' feature, not a fully automated system. You will feel that if one of the lane lines on the road happen to disappear. The sensors will then have no point of reference and
the vehicle will either disengage the feature or wander off course. Totally unsafe and that's why it's programmed to trip the warning alert. If you ignore the warning alert long enough, it will disengage Adaptive CC
altogether, stop the vehicle and engage the 4 way flashers. It's programmed to do that because if you don't perform user input to the steering wheel, it thinks you're out and unable to respond to normal driving conditions.
BlueCruise allows for hands-free driving but uses a driver-facing camera to ensure the driver remains attentive to the road.
