I prefer the ST's styling over the MDX Type-S, both have nice interiors with the ST costing $14k - $17K less.
Type-S is nice, but I'm not all that impressed given it's cost and level of performance.

Yeah I was considering this when my ST was on order. Glad I didn’t wait. Very pricey. Most comments I’ve read is that at that pricing, it doesn’t compare very well to equivalent competition.

100% agreed. I was also keeping my eye on it before I got my ST.

355 hp seemed a bit low to me for a performance SUV, especially at that price point.

My buddy just came by my house and had one of these. It looked really nice he has one that looks just like my carbonized grey. The interior was a lot nicer then my ST. I loved the seats. It was small though very small TrackHawk sized.
Just my opinion but the ST is still the best choice. Looks - price and performance.

Definitely a nice interior, but yeah, 350 hp was 100 too low to even be competitive. Honda has never been a leader in power, and the chassis underneath is very nice, but yeah, they missed the mark on it. It's more like a corsair competitor than explorer though.

Yeah most people saying this engine should be the base for the mdx.

Fit and finish will always be better in an Acura vs ford (Being a long time honda/Acura owner) however they are very lack luster when it comes to performance. I replaced my TL with the ST after 10 years of ownership. fact of the matter is the new TLX much like the MDX lacks performance even on the top of the line model.
