Beach drive

Hi been looking around threads and youtube about this. But no luck.
my question is, have you guys tried driving on the beach?
I have AWD 2.5L with 21” wheels and I just wanted to try driving on the beach and camp. But Im not sure if our explorer would be capable of doing that.

Packed sand, no problem whatsoever. Loose sand, hit or miss but shouldn't be an issue. Keep it in sand mode so it stays/holds in lower gear. Really depends on your experience. I've seen 4x4's with mud grabbers get stuck while someone in a Toyota Camry drove right past them.
