Well, as expected, I was able to enable both global window open & close, but not the keypad that I installed a couple of weeks ago. There must be another setting in some module other than the BCM & APIM that needs to be enabled. Speaking of the APIM, there are 2 settings there that should be enabled when you activate the global open & close. The 2025 spreadsheet says you have to modify only the BCM and both the DDM & PDM to enable global windows. That's correct, but if you want the ability to easily turn them on & off, you have to go into the APIM and enable both global window opening and global window closing, and then you can turn either or both of them on and off from the screen.

I was initially unable to get the pre-programmed keypad code from the BCM. The BCM has 3 different setting selections for the keypad---disabled, hardware input and LIN input. I tried both hardware & LIN, but neither worked. But once I picked either one, I was able to get the factory programmed code by using the 2 keyfob method in the keyfob slot.

I will keep you apprised of any headway I make with the keypad. I failed to mention above that I also performed the BCM LIN activation to detect new hardware---Did it 3 times, but no luck. Ford FDRS has a simple routine in its toolbox section for enabling the keypad, but the last time I looked, a short subscription costs $300. If worst comes to worst, I will call a few local Ford dealers and ask them if any of their techs have experience activating the keypads---They should, as it was a dealer installed option for most of the 2025 model year---I'm sure a few people that bought Explorers wanted it. I have heard that once you activate FDRS and it recognizes the truck, it's a 10 minute routine to activate the keypad. Even if they charge me an hour's labor, I'm ahead. I got 2 brand new keypads in sealed Ford boxes on Ebay for only $120--The guy who sold them realized he had to totally (and I mean totally) disassemble the driver's door to install the keypad and he realized he wasn't capable of doing it. The keypads retail for over $200, and on Ebay, most Ford dealers are selling them for about $180 each.
