2025 Explorer ST O2 Sensor Extensions - CVFab Down Pipes

Have a 2025 ST that I am in the process of installing CVFab Down pipes, the O2 Sensor on the passenger side needs an extension IMO. Does anyone know if the 2020-2024 O2 Extensions will work for 2025?

My CVFab downpipes came with extensions for both sides. I’m having a trouble code problem (P2098) and was told to take the extensions of the after cat O2 sensor and run them for 30 miles delete the the rich code and replace the extensions and it ”should reset the sensors. Problem, can’t take the extensions off due to interference with the floor pan. Asked cv fab if the extensions were side dependent and they claimed they were universal. So I’ll try one more time (two mechanics say they won’t come off without disconnecting the downpipes from the turbo. Cv fab says they just unscrew.) Just don’t want to disconnect the turbo-downpipes flanges twice.

Sorry to hijack your thread, but I just received my CVFAB downpipes and they didn't come with O2 extensions. Do I need them for a 2025, has anyone else encountered issues with 25's throwing codes after install. I hope we aren't the guinea pigs.

My install appointment is set for this Thursday. Ugh

Do you mean 02 extensions like wiring harness extensions, or defoulers? Assuming you mean the latter, the CVFab stuff comes with them, but you may have missed them or otherwise mistakenly thrown them out with the packaging materials since I think they come int a fairly small separate package mixed in with the packaging materials.

Nope, everything was checked, only two downpipes in the box, nothing else.

I have ordered new extensions, defoulers or whatever you want to call them that are shorter than the extensions that cvf supplied. The extensions that they provided me cannot be removed without disconnecting the cat from the turbo because they are too long and hit the frame. I have the new extensions on order and will post whether they fit or not, and how they work. Like I said, I don’t want to take the cats off 2 times in order to clear that engine light and waste two more gaskets. I hope I can cut the old ones off without disconnecting the cat. If I can’t due to space limitations, I’ll only take the old ones off after disconnecting the cat once and can install the smaller extensions without removale of the cat.
