So you just bought a 2025 Explorer ST and you have decided that you need to spend more money on it.
What do you buy first?
Below are some items that I have personally bought, tested, and found to be worthy of buying during the Explorer honeymoon phase.
This is not necessarily a performance mod thread, but it could be. These are just some initial items to improve on the factory vehicle.
**Edited to add that a lot of these items are available for 2020-2024 models as well**
Please feel free to add any items that you feel are "must haves", I included links to where I bought mine.
1. Aluminum ST Pedals. Inexpensive, easy 5 minute install. Covers and dresses up the interior.
https://www.amazon.com/Hecotrax-Exp...a?sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY
2. Nano Touch Screen Protector. I was surprised how well this brand works! 75% reduction of smudges! Greatly reduces fingerprints from forming on your display. Anti-reflective and scratch resistant. Hydrophobic and Oleophobic. Easy 5 min install
https://www.amazon.com/CDEFG-2025-E...a?sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY
3. Auto-Start/Stop Eliminator. Please for the love of God, Ford, quit with this nonsense. Eliminate the auto-start/stop feature. Vehicle starts in "off" mode and can be toggled on with factory switch. The way it should be. Easy plug and play install. **Does not void factory warranty according to listing**

4. Front License Plate Delete *Plugs*. Obey your local laws, but when "in Mexico", get rid of that ugly front plate. Plenty of youtube vids showing removal process. Here are the painted plugs to fill the holes after removal. Inexpensive.

5. SnapShades. 2025 Job 2 Explorers did not get 2nd row sunscreens
. This is an excellent alternative. These shades pop on and off in seconds and provide extra sun protection and privacy. Easy installation.

6. Black Out Emblems (Plasti-Dip). Plenty of expensive and time consuming ways to black out the Blue Oval's. Here is the fast, $8.00 option, that turned out awesome on mine. Easy install.

7. Vevor Oil Extractor. I saved my favorite for last. Fast, easy, no mess oil changes are possible using the extraction method. 6th Gen Explorers are designed with the oil filter access in the engine bay, which means you don't have to lift the vehicle for oil changes. No need to remove underbody panels and deal with our ridiculous plastic oil pans or plastic oil plugs. Use this extractor to remove the oil through the dipstick tube and then change the oil filter, in the engine bay! Change your oil in 15 minutes without spilling a drop. It's safer too, because you're never under the vehicle. There are youtube videos showing the extraction method. Expensive Euro cars use this method.
