2025 Explorer ST - Getting Emission Sensor Error after CVFab Down Pipes

I recently installed CVFab downpipes, and everything seemed fine until I pushed the car harder. At that point, I received a "power control system" error indicating abnormal emission levels. I half-expected this, but I was able to clear the code using Forescan.

What happened next is what I don't fully understand and could use some help with. After clearing the error, I went back out to drive it again to see if the emission issue was a one-time occurrence. When I pushed it and hit the rev limiter, the car immediately lost all power and started misfiring, and the check engine light flashed. I eased off the throttle and limped along for about 30 to 60 seconds, and then the car corrected itself and stopped misfiring. I got another error message in the Ford app saying I had a severe misfire. I am attaching the Ford app errors and the two PCM Forescan messages about a misfire on cylinder 3.
Has anyone seen this or have any idea how to solve it? If not I'm going back to the stock downpipes...

Thanks!

Im pretty sure then answer is going to be defoulers for the O2 sensors.

Did you install the defoulers? If not, that is most likely it.

I’ve had the same problem. CV Fab told me to take the extensions off, run the O2 sensors to get a rich code for 30 miles, delete the code and reinstall the O2 sensors and that “should” fix the problem. Problem… Due to injuries I had a mechanic install the downpipes. Two mechanics have said they will have to take the downpipes off the turbos because the extensions hit on the floor pan on the driver’s side and can’t be removed by just unscrewing them. I’ve sent an email asking if the extensions are the same or did the mechanic put the extensions on the wrong side? If I have to take these downpipes off to remove the extensions and to replace them, I’ll box them up and get something else. I’m no rookie. I’ve been working on and hot rodding cars since I was 14 and I’m 73 now. This is one of the most ridiculous situations I’ve ever been in for a while. Not happy.

Bought the ST to tour and can’t until I get this figured out. My shop is 30’ x 31’, two lifts and air conditioned. I’m no rookie. Just waited for my inverted torx wrenches to come in to take these things off. Going to start shopping for different brands since you can’t talk with tech support and have to wait on emails. It’s a shame to spend $60K on a vehicle and $7K (not including paying labor) on upgrades and having this kind of problem.
