2023 gear selector/drive mode replacement

Just purchased a 2023 ST, and the gear selector and drive mode selector have some kind of blemish on them that won’t come off.

Thinking of trying to replace them. How hard is it to 1) obtain replacement parts and 2) do the actual replacement?

I’m pretty handy, so wondering if I can do it myself.

aside from disassembly of the center console I do not think it would be exceptionally hard to change these out. Replacement parts are available for both of these the Gear Shift is around 170 and the Mode switch is around 100 bucks. I found them pretty quickly online so you should be able to as well!

Depending on where the blemish is, maybe those dress up rings will do the trick.
