10k Service and Recall Service Issues

I dropped off my ride Tuesday night for the recent recalls and 10k standard service. Still do not have it back as of Friday @4:45. They said they have to talk to or get an approval from a Ford Engineer prior to giving it back. Has anyone else had to deal bs like this? Part of me suspects it’s them thinking about giving me flack for my upgrades etc…

Is something about it broken? Unless whatever you have going on is tied to your upgrades, I wouldnt imagine that's the case. You could just be the first car they've done whatever the recall is on, and they're clueless.

Thankfully, so far, no recalls on my '26... but my dealer hasnt said anything about my upgrades, and other than HP Fuel System and turbos, I have everything.
