    Lowering Springs Pros and Cons

So fixed the toe on the rear, again checked the camber and this is what I have with the weight off the wheels and maxed out in the slots. Not sure how you guys are getting it to -.5 in the rear for camber (without dremeling the slot) but this is the best we can do for my ride. (And yes we did...

    Lowering Springs Pros and Cons

    1. Jack up the rearend to take the weight off the wheels. 2. Lossen the camber adjustment nut 2 full turns. 3. Let the suspention settle and re-torque the nut. 4. Put the car down and check camber (which should be close to -.5°) 5. Adjust camber if not -.5° 6. Adjust toe to -.1° or just below...

    Lowering Springs Pros and Cons

I'm going to bring it to another shop then, I watched them raise it then loosen the inside bolt (I was right out there with him) and I did see it fall in place, they tightened the bolt back down then put weight back on the tires. To me it looked like they definitely maxed it out there was no...

    Lowering Springs Pros and Cons

So just got the ride back from the shop, Basically told me this is the best they could get the rear, minus the toe, I told them to get it close to -1 they said they can adjust toe more if need be, just wanted to see how it looked to you guys. thanks! Also was going to go to my other shop to see...

    Lowering Springs Pros and Cons

No worries! So basically lift the rear end, loosen inner bolt (I have the diagram to show them) so it falls naturally, tighten the bolt back up then adjust camber and toe normally from there?

    Lowering Springs Pros and Cons

Question for @UNBROKEN you mentioned you need to dremel out the slots to get to -.5 in the rear. Is this the case? I want to make sure I'm telling my alignment shop what to expect. Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up, WaferTech's diagram he attached helped perfectly. Just waiting for the correct top hat bolts to finish putting everything together.

Got the bump stop in, just needed some persuasion lol, just waiting for the dust boot then should be set to install everything. Thanks for the help guys!

    Strut body cap

Ahh I see! thanks for illustration. It looks like the bump stop gets pressed into the top hat as well? I have it upside down it looks like in my picture, for the life of me I tried pressing the bump stop into the top hat before I flipped it facing the way it is now and I could not get it to seat.

    Strut body cap

A little off topic but, I'm assuming this is the correct orientation so far? I'm just waiting for the dust shield. The bump stop just "floats"? Unable to really compare due to the old strut being on the ST.

Will do, thanks for the clarification!

    Strut body cap

That's what my thought process was, I'm going to go look at my current strut installed now and lift the boot more to see what the current cap looks like, if its not a holder for the bump stop or whatever ford says im probably going to just keep it on the steeda strut.
