    ZFG DMS

I hadn't heard about the DMS tune! I think I will finally be going for the ZFG tune because I need the ability to tow large loads and never wanted to take the risk of a tune not playing nice with my trailers. This is awesome!

    Aftermarket Amplifier Wiring Guide

Thanks @Stone17! I think I might go with the PAC AmpPro instead of jumping in off the factory amp. This should still be very helpful so I know which wires are which.

    Aftermarket Amplifier Wiring Guide

Yeah, I'm still looking to get the pinout of the connectors on the amp side. If you also have it on the radio/headunit side as well, that would be even better! 14 speaker system.

    Aftermarket Amplifier Wiring Guide

Here is a photo of the amplifier. I need speaker level inputs for my new amplifier. I am hoping those are in the bunch of colored wires?

    Aftermarket Amplifier Wiring Guide

I am finally getting around to upgrading my audio system. I have the premium tech package with the subwoofer and all that. I am thinking of purchasing a LC-6.1200 so I can power 2 sets of speakers and install an aftermarket subwoofer as well all in the same package. I just pulled apart the back...

    Brake Launch Limiter

Oh, thanks! Does this usually change when getting tuned? I was thinking of getting a tune this summer some time, most likely from ZFG.

    Brake Launch Limiter

I was wondering why my vehicle seems to only be able to rev up to roughly 2000 or 2200 rpm when I'm brake launching. Is there a setting to change this? I could have sworn I saw people stating they launch at higher rpm than that so I am curious as to why my vehicle is limited to that rpm. Your...

    Winter Tires and Rims

For winter I am running 18" rims and Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5 SUV (non-studded). I have driven in poor weather twice with them so far and they were great. This Thursday we are supposed to get hit pretty good as well so I am excited to use them again. I love winter driving! I have never had an...

Terrible weekend with catastrophic ST failure

WOW... That's rough. Hopefully that's the fix, though.

Problem with locking and unlocking when touching door handle.

I know for my vehicle, something is not working right but only at times so of course it's hard to get it fixed. I can touch my rear driver side door and it won't unlock. Walk to passenger rear door and it will unlock. Then lock the car again, touch the driver rear door and it will unlock that...

Problem with locking and unlocking when touching door handle.

My driver side rear door doesn't always like to unlock when I touch it. I have to reach forward to the driver door to unlock the doors and then open the rear door after. I am bringing my vehicle in to the dealership for a few other small things, I might add this to the list. It's not very...

    Non-Slip Rear Cargo Liner

I have the husky cargo liner as well but it was upsetting how slippery it is for dogs and other objects in the back. I bought a dog blanket off of amazon that has little rubber pieces underneath. It does a pretty good job keeping things from sliding allll over the place. I also leave bungee...

    WTForscan

I'll just post this bit about the reverse-tilting-mirror "calibration" here as well just in case anyone is curious. The calibration comes with a warning about how this vehicle does not come with this so it is not recommended to turn this feature on, so I am not personally telling anyone to do this.

    WTForscan

FENG is in the ACM module of Forscan. It is called "Engine Sound Enhancement". Set it to "Disabled" and you should be good to go.

    WTForscan

Are you saying you are trying to store the tilt-when-in-reverse locations when tilted? If so, there is a procedure you must follow to store it and it still is supposedly not 100% to do it correctly. But If you need to know, I posted the directions somewhere before and I can find them again if...

    Aftermarket Amplifier Power Cable Run

That could definitely work! I will have to cross the cable over to the other side, and I believe I saw people do that at the rear seat, but is it much hassle? Any idea if the firewall at the pedals is single walled and might be easier to attach the power cable to the secondary battery terminal...

Help with indicator light for heat/ac power

No problem, cleaning up the interior of the cabin is amazing and it's so easy! Here is the thread to help explain how to use the tapping wire in our vehicles; https://www.explorerst.org/threads/mirror-tap-for-radar-detector.898/

    Aftermarket Amplifier Power Cable Run

Where did everyone run the power for their aftermarket amplifier through the firewall? I really figure there has to be a decent spot near the pedals on the floor.

Explorer ST Adapt-X Tune (OEM Octane Learning and drivability)

Hi again! I was curious if you heard about the Ford Performance Tune and what you think the benefits of your tune are over that one? You may need more time to see what the FP tune really has to offer in real-world data so no rush but would love to hear your thoughts.
