RESOLVED: Clicking: P to D (video)

Yes sir! I rode with the foreman at the dealership, he said he'd have a tech look at it, and that he thought he knew what it was. Apparently it's a problem on the PIU explorers a lot, he knew exactly what to do. They lubed them up and had me out of there in an instant.

RESOLVED: Clicking: P to D (video)

It's the axle splines. Have them lube them, takes like 10 minutes.

    Clunking when engaging gears

Any update? Mine has been doing this for like a year now, never gotten worse, but also never stopped.

What SWAG does ford give you when you attend the driving experience?

The backpack is actually a nice and, for a backpack, normally kinda pricey. The power brick is surprisingly nice, too. It has wireless charging if your phone can charge by that means.

    How to fix?

Just order the replacement and wait it out for a month? It's strictly cosmetic and shouldnt have to be rushed

    360 camera red lines

Mine has done this maybe 5 times in 40k miles. Just hard reset the infotainment system fixes it for me.

    Interior creaks and rattles

Go ahead and go big and get a sheet of dynamat/stinger roadkill or whatever. Do portions of the sheet metal and prevent a lot of obnoxious racket.

    Side sensors

I hope someone has some information on this. My passenger side ones have lost their fucking mind. I can be on a flat surface with nothing in site and they're like "WHOA BUDDY, YOU'RE LITERALLY HITTING SOMETHING!"

GPS Failure & Sync Master Reset

I had literally this exact thing happen to me. As opposed to a reset, I just disconnected the battery and all has been well for 2 months now. It came out of nowhere, but I started noticing when my speedsign recognition wouldn't work anymore (because it's GPS based). It was a weird one, for sure.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Debadged the "EXPLORER" on the hood and installed the Experience ST badges. I definitely enjoy the look more, now.

Platinum Trim Headlamps on an ST

You're the MVP of the forum! Thanks, man! I'll keep my eyes out for a wrecked platinum and see if it has salvageable lights and go from there. Even if it didn't retain the adaptive function, they're still nicer looking lights in my opinion.

Platinum Trim Headlamps on an ST

Hey, y'all. Does anyone know if the adaptive headlamps from a Platinum could be put on to the ST and retain their functions, or even operate for that matter? I saw one this evening up close and it's like they have projector housings and the light output seems much more clean in comparison to...

    Post your latest purchase.

Added a Mazda 3 Turbo Hatchback to the "garage" for the wife. She digs it. And boy, it sure does go when you lay on it.

    colder spark plugs

How the hell do yall get to the back two plugs? They're under a nest of wires and some (what appears to be) AC tubes.

What don't you like about your ST?

I believe they do literally that exact thing. I may be wrong, however.

    Car wash/detail tips

There are microfiber gloves you can get (with 5 independent fingers, not a "washing" glove), and that's what I use for the wheels. Spray her down with water and wheel cleaner, hit the lugs with a detailing brush, then wipe the rest down with your gloved hand. Works pretty well for me.

What are some of your other hobbies?

Hey, hey, whoa now(I kid ). I'm 27, was early 26 when we purchased. It wasn't too far fetched for my wife and I, but we're very fortunate for our financial situation at our age.
