N Not sure , I had this done when I first got it, after I started to play with forscan and tuning it I noticed the windshield was turned off. I believe the 2020's are the only ones with that option so assumed that's why they turned it off.

So this started to happen on my 2020 little at a time , first the button on the side of the seat wouldn't work, then the screen stopped controlling the driver seat. Would come and go, then the driver's side heated seat broke. After like 14 days at the dealership they replaced a bunch of modules...

Was installed for about 4 months.... looks brand new.... one of the clips broke off the connection, when I took it off i broke the clip on one side, again so it's completely clear , the clip is missing on one of the connections, what u see in the pic is what you get....I traded in the truck...

I have a 2020 that I may be looking to sell around then. I drive it 8 miles a day, it currently has 16 thousand miles on it. Besides some cosmetic add ons , it has a steeda Brace, mbrp axle back exhaust and a 93 zfg tune. Send me a message when your ready.

After driving mustangs with flow masters and h pipes for years I guess I like the drone, I love the mbrp axle back. I only hear it if the radio is low and last time that happened my sister in law was in truck so the drone was a nice distraction.....lol

I thought I had a hole in my reservoir at first, I kept checking for puddles under truck.

Maybe on yours..... mine is like a constant spray bottle spray on both the front and back, u may have a clogged line.

They go on automatically when you wash the windshield. This is why they burn through washer fluid insanely fast.

The tail lights are 595 in case you were wondering...... thats from ford..... 3rd day out purchase....

The only way to turn it off permanently without an eliminator is to use a tuning device. If you have the vcm suite program it is a check box that you click and it will turn it off.

I have one of the 2020's that had this issue, the dealer had to reprogram the computer and it hasn't happened in over 3 years. After they flash it go back in with forscan and turn back on the heated windshield, when they flash it , it gets disabled.

I have one of the original 2020's that had this jssue , mine was a battery drain after the truck sat for 3 days it wouldn't start. The fix was they reprogrammed something and it hasn't happened in over 3 years....
