    Borla Exhaust Upgrade

I thought the same thing. I saw somewhere that another owner did an exhaust mod for about $150 and it sounded good. Trying to find that thread now.

    1000 mile oil change.

I just passed 1000 miles today. Changed the oil. It’s running and shifting like a dream. Zero issues. It was fun to finally be able to get on it. I run 93 Octane all the time. I’m averaging 19.4 mpg. My first ever new Ford. So far it’s a dream. Feels a lot bigger than my 07 SS Trailblazer, it...

Yes, and watched the video. Unfortunately, that is a different connector. They must have changed it in production somewhere along the way. Funny thing is, the other side of the hose has the same blue connector that the other hoses have.

    Oil Catch Can Thread

I installed my UPR can today. It was a breeze and the can is polished aluminum and looks sharp. I need help on removing the fitting for the clean side where the oil separator goes. It’s a different fitting than UPR shows in their video. Here’s a pic. Any idea on how to remove this? Thanks in...

What competitors did you consider before purchasing Explorer ST?

I test drove an Audi Q7, Jeep Track Hawk, Chevy RST Tahoe, GMC Denali, Dodge Durango SRT and Mercedes GLE AMG 45. The Audi was a disappointing dog. The Track Hawk was fun but way over priced and based on a years old platform, the Chevy was just too big, same with the Denali, the Durango just...

What did your Ford Explorer ST replace?

It was a great vehicle, I hated to let it go, but the economics didn't work. It cost more to keep it running than it was worth. So I decided to make a change. GM no longer makes a high performance mid size suv. Now that I have the ST and the benefit of modern technology, I'm hooked. This is the...

    Turning radius

I previously had a 2007 SS Trailblazer which was about a good foot shorter and the Explorer ST turns way tighter. I was amazed when I did my first U turn.

    Cold Air Intake

I just spoke with K&N in CA. They have a call out on their social media looking for vehicles to test on. If you live there, you may be able to get a system for free if you loan them your vehicle. At this time, they do not have a cold air intake system available, but they do plan one. They said...

Hi Guys, I searched the forum and didn't find anything... Is there any Information out there about cold air intakes or K&N Filters? Any idea on performance enhancements? Thanks.
