Silicone grease should be tacky. It’s hell to get off your hands and it’s super thick. That’s what keeps it in place in the bushings since there’s no physical containment. It sounds like you never had enough in there to begin with.

You can kill the FENG with Forscan. As far as tuners my buddy Jeff Hald from MTI here in Texas is exactly what you’re looking for. His remote tuning service is phenomenal. Look up Total Tuning on Facebook.

Maybe I’ll reach out to them. I’d be perfectly happy just changing the tan to white everywhere.

If you’re tuned for it E50 is great. You can run up to E30 on any tune.

I’d read through these threads. There’s plenty of posts about parts needed but you’ll need the tray and insert to go with the 8” bezel.

That’s the finished install with both housings blended together. I went to the 8” vent bezel and there’s no issues accessing anything at all. Cost I don’t remember.

That’s a 28.4” tall tire…entirely too short for this car.

Finished up the bottom cap today. I took the other housing I had and cut it into 3 pieces, CA glued them together then hit them with some epoxy to make it solid then a little body filler to shape followed by adhesion promoter, primer and paint. Honestly I didn’t even try to make the filler...
