Hit a deer. Now comes the auto insurance dance...

I've hit 2 over the years and had my preferred body shop fix it. I think insurance companies allow the shops to account for unseen damages.

What Did the Wife Do to the Explorer ST Today

It was a lamp pole with the concrete base at the bottom. No warnings at all and didn’t try to stop her. Funny, the auto braking has kicked in when we back out of the garage but not this time. Thankfully, it’s all cosmetic .

Upper and lower bumper cover and rh molding from FordParts (my cost) $1091.01. Mid-March before it goes to the body shop. You're probably close at 2 grand. Not sure what Star White Tri-Coat will cost over regular base/ clear.

2025 Headliner Exposed at Drivers Door

Should have been pulled offline and fixed at Chicago Assembly. Another example of the lack of quality control there.

Rode Hard, Put Away Wet ...

Low miles for a 2019, but have seen a lot of action. Curious how much they get for them.

Unfortunately, that’s the bumper that split. The trim above the exhaust also cracked. I popped the cover back in by the taillight.

Send those pics to whoever you think may help. Won't cost anything and the more who see it, better the response.

    Quality issues

I must admit that’s pretty rough for a $40,000 vehicle. Find the right person upstream at Ford and send them those pics. Let us know the outcome.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

The Works oil change, tire rotation. Had some Ford Points so it only cost 40 bucks.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Washed, spray waxed, leather & vinyl, swept, windows, floor mats. Changed the air and cabin filters too.

    Floorboard Hole

Wouldn't surprise me if it was missing from the initial build. Our '20 had missing shields, paint defects that no one caught (or cared) in Chicago Assembly. Could ask your dealer to get you one.
