I'd take it to a different dealer. That's what warranty is for and if this is a new development than it isn't normal. FYI Sport mode does jerk a little bit from 4th to 3rd so that it can rev match but it doesn't slam the gears.

Tune voids warranty. That's the plain truth. I will never put a tune on any of my vehicles until it's out of warranty. And no, some smart technician will notice and then there goes your ego . Jk. But don't, extended service plans are amazing and I wouldn't trade it for extra power.

I'd get the Thermal 3". Best sounding exhaust in my opinion. Borla isn't bad either. Can't go wrong with either.
