    Explorer Grille/Brush Guard

My last explorer I installed a grill guard on it and I loved it. I'm considering it again however, I'm curious if anyone has installed the black horse grille guard on there explorer's yet? I can't find any photos but I do not wanna jump on something when I only have a half assed rendering to go...

    Explorer PIU

Honestly, I’d suggest looking for a totalled ST on copart and rip everything out of there if that’s the route you wanna go. You could have the rigid body of the PIU with the luxury and style of the ST

The Thermal R&D cat back exhaust PREMIER!

The downpipes I order from fenfab that have new cats that are not suppose to set off a code or require defoulers/extenders did give me a code today so I will be reaching out to Brent at fenfab on Monday

    Downpipe install cost

Since I don’t have a lift and no one can give a straight answer on how to approach this; I’m planning on taking my Explorer in to get the fenfab downpipes installed on the ST. I’m curious what others paid and how long the job took to get done?

The Thermal R&D cat back exhaust PREMIER!

I called Brett at fenfab and he confirmed the new catted downpipes do not need defoulers/extenders because he is in fact using a new cat. He said he just hasn’t gotten around to updating the listing.

The Thermal R&D cat back exhaust PREMIER!

I order fenfab a couple weeks ago so I look forward to there arrival. I've read fabfab has better quality, but I cannot confirm or deny that claim. I personally went with fenfab because its a Michigan company and I'm from Michigan, I actually live in the Detroit area a few miles from there...

    Hello!

My Explorer ST has been almost perfect. Some minor rattling but it's been great. I came from a 2013 Explorer and I would say its worth the buy.

    Wheels and Tires

I’m sorry you hate your vehicle, but 13,000 miles, 7 months and I’m still in love with my Explorer ST. Yes its has some minor interior rattles. But so has every car I owned. My fathers 2018 Grand Cherokee is no better, neither is my girlfriends 2019 GMC Terrain, even my buddies 3 series BMW has...

they replaced a lot of that matte plastic with a gloss plastic. They did it on the doors, radio, and center counsel. I think it went a long way and really tied the interior together.

The 2020 interior was subpar, the 2021+ I think has a nicer interior, they made such simple changes that made a huge difference in my opinion.

    Wheels and Tires

If the roads are good where you live then I'd say its a great vehicle. when I get outside of Detroit to smaller towns where roads are considerably better I hear a lot less rattling. I am in probably one of the worst areas in the U.S which can make driving the vehicle a little frustrating. but...

    Wheels and Tires

I live in Detroit and have had my ST for about 7 months and I'm going to say its OKAY at best. Since its a stiffer suspension with larger rims in a pot hole infested city with horrible roads its not the most quiet ride. the vehicle squeaks and rattles more than the 2013 Explorer XLT I had prior...

May I ask where you got it? I'd actually be interested in getting a hood.

I'm not fond of the front end, BUT I do love the hood. Is that still aluminum like the OEM one?
