Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

I don't know if FORD officially stopped the 2022 production line to change out the one bolt rears for the two's. My '22 ST was made in January and has the one bolt.

How can I carry 3 kayaks with no roof rails?

"How can I carry 3 kayaks with no roof rails?" With a trailer perhaps?

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

And I can't think of a more nonessential feature than a rear seat center console. People need to get a grip and chill.

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

Are you seriously not buying a $55k-$60k vehicle because of a missing $80 rear center console? Sorry, that doesn't make any sense to me ...

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

Give this man a cigar! I drive it exactly as if there were no recall whatsoever. That means the full gamut, easy and smooth, power braking, full throttle etc.

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

Good catch, never would've seen that in a 29 page thread. Well, the sad thing is something very close to that scenario probably happened.

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

Great info, that chart is a keeper. (y) I'd love to be a fly on the wall of FORD Engineering: "Heh John, that thing we did with the 3 bolt rears? Yeah, it didn't work." I'll give you my address, you can send it to me. Don't worry, I'll pay for the shipping. Because that's what friends do!

Selling my 22 ST allocation when it arrives

Sorry to hear what happened, I never would've waited that long either. I would've either got nothing or traveled out of state for an ST. Everyone has different criteria for their vehicle, but for me the ST was the only option. For example, compared to the ST: Durango SRT is a whopping $17k...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

What did I do to my ST today? I looked at it in my driveway and gave thanks that I didn't pay a penny over MSRP for it!

Selling my 22 ST allocation when it arrives

I got better rates staying away form FORD Credit.

Selling my 22 ST allocation when it arrives

I believe you meant "highway robbery" when talking about paying even one dime over MSRP. There's an ST at a dealer not far from me with just a few options, it's at MSRP and has been on the their lot for months.

Selling my 22 ST allocation when it arrives

One dealer I went to was charging $3k over sticker for one on their lot, plus another $1,500 in dealer add on's. I walked. So I found a dealer that had one there for MSRP. I never paid MSRP before, but what are you gonna do ...

    ST lagging when in reverse

    2023 Kia Telluride X-Pro

I've been a Ford guy going way back, primarily Mustangs (light modding/racing). But if a competing manufacturer engineers something that is fast, reliable and cost effective, they've got my attention. My Stinger GT AWD fulfilled all 3 of those requirements, so I purchased one and had 3 headache...
