    Air Box Mods?

You have a nice airflow coming from the snorkus. Why defeat that with drilled holes which removes both any pressurization (minimal) and allows for higher temp underhood air?

    Vehicle Insurance

Good luck with that! You might find someone to do a custom rider but you're going to have to have documentation, bills, etc, and the cost will most likely be prohibitive.

aFe Intake -vs- Whipple Intercooler -vs- Downpipe

What this means is that the secondary 02 sensors are expected to see a difference between the gas content from the primary 02 sensor to the secondary one due to the cat's effectiveness. If you need defoulers, then the computer doesn't see the same tolerance it expects. Changing orifice size or...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

I'm sure he'll start bitching about the fact that his Denali makes less hp cuz he can't buy premium fuel where he lives. Then he'll find issue with SAE fuel standards. Then, after people give him info on where he can purchase such fuel he'll complain about the price. After that he moves on to...

Focal, Mosconi, Illusion and Helix build

What kind of snap grommets are those? Did you punch out the holes in the trim or drill them?

Easy answer is intelligent also adds speed recognition (by scanning road signs) to automatically set cruise speed. https://cansoford.ca/ford-co-pilot360-technology/

    Blackstone Oil Analysis Reports

Magnesium numbers seem to be creeping up...are you using the same oil each change or have you switched? What viscosity are you running?

    Stock fuel system e85 tuning

Once again, I'm talking about being able to maximize performance. Period. Yes, you can use the lambda sensor to adjust fueling. But, can you adjust timing and boost on the fly in the Ford ECU to do this? Are there correction maps available for those variables as well? If Ford had those maps...

    Stock fuel system e85 tuning

Y'all are missing the point. Yes, of course a modern vehicle can correct for changes in ethanol content. Where I live, I can get 93 fuel only, 93/10% ethanol, and in the summer 93/30% ethanol. You can also get e85. I'm not sure about straight e85, but all of these will run fine in an ST...

    Good clean humor and jokes

Yes, 455s for the Hurst Olds (68 and 69) and 70 and later 442s. Earlier models were 400s. W-31 was the only 350. It had the optional 4.44 differential. Nothing like rolling down the road at 70 at 4000 rpm! It was bought by a guy for drag racing and had radio and carpet delete options as well...

    Good clean humor and jokes

Nah, forget it. My dad worked at Olds in Lansing, and I grew up with 442s. Put myself through college fixing them up (because I'd accumulated a TON of parts). First car a 65 442 convertible, on to a 70 442, followed by 69 W-31, 68 Hurst Olds, 66 tri-power, 72, 70 W-30, 69 convertible.... The...

2022 Ford Explorer Adds the ST's 400-HP V-6 to More Trims

Front transfer case, front driveshaft, front differential, twin halfshafts...just an estimate, but it would have to be near that number. Once again, I'd only swap AWD if the Torsen was included and only if I weren't dealing with snow, etc. Remember, both front and rear diffs are open, so...

    Creaking center front armrest?

I think it's interesting the different build qualities that people have experienced. Mine was built in February of 20. Long enough after initial assembly problems to work the gremlins out and just before Covid personnel problems. Maybe mine is the rare unicorn, I haven't had a single problem...

2022 Ford Explorer Adds the ST's 400-HP V-6 to More Trims

If only the RWD ST would get the Timberline Torsen rear-diff- might even think about a trade-in for that. Lose 300+ lbs off the front. I don't have to worry about snow, but if I'm giving up AWD I definitely want the LSD. (I hope you're up on acronyms, this post isn't about drugs!)

I mean he only wants $22,500 for it....Must have cost that much in bodywork and bondo. Never have I seen such a mish-mash of years and styles! Not only does it have non-functional ram air scoops, but it also includes a vintage non-functional Roots blower cap. The most valuable thing I can spot...

    Ford Co-pilot 360 thread

Take some time to familiarize yourself with the Setting/Driver Assist on the touchscreen. There are a ton of things you have complete control over and can turn on and off to your satisfaction. Obviously, your salesman didn't know anything about your vehicle and didn't educate you. Also, look...

    Good clean humor and jokes

Not quite the "meme" variety of humor, but I did come across a CL posting on a 72 oldsmobile that I think must be shared. Looks like the owner couldn't decide on 69 Hurst Olds, Corvette, 52 F-150 or Morgan styling. But it is definitely 1 of a kind...
