The only thing I like about the Ford map is can use it full screen. But I have gone to using Google maps because it is so much easier. And for me Ford is now charging to update the map and it sure isn't worth the price.

After you did the install a new file should have been created on your flash drive. It is in the SYNCmyRide folder. That is the one that needs to be uploaded to the Ford website. Here is a screen shot of it.

Welcome to the forum. I would make one suggestion and that is cancel the diffy stiffy. There has been posts where they have failed. AWR,ID Speed or Steeda would be a much better option. Just my 2cents.

Pretty sure that will fix it. Don't forget to upload the xml file that was created on the flash drive to Ford so they show the correct version that you are on.

Have you updated SYNC software to 23188 that Ford released recently?

That is the way to do it. Just make sure you don't try to open the xml file.

Open the folder file. It should be in there.

Don't forget to find the xml file on your flash drive. Then upload it to the Ford Owners site to show that you are up to date,

Does your Explorer show 23188? If so have you checked your flash drive to see if you have the xml file on it. It would be in the SyncMyRide folder there.

If it was me, I would take one extra step and download it from Ford again. Just in case there is an issue there. For me that download did not take very long. And you can an keep this in mind. Several people have reported doing the update over the air if you have a good internet connection where...
