Carplay is wired. That said, many use the Carplay wireless dongles to connect to Carplay wirelessly with mixed results.

Haven't tried one but it's a shame that's not a feature that was added for 2025 on the ST and Platinum. When we bought my wife's Q5 in 2020, we were not expecting the feature but it's really nice to know your speed without taking your eyes from the road.

Not sure what NaviUpgrade is but my MY2020 was built in 6/2019. the fullscreen mod works just fine. Make sure you are on Sync 3.4 23188. The good folks doing the mod have been good about assisting people who neglected to back up their files or where the early versions may not have backed them...

You can still format your USB drives with MAC. I used my macbook and formatted them to exFAT. Regardless, if the steps all progressed as planned except for the final usb (fullscreen mod), try and look at the log to see what it says. Also Sync 3.4 version needs to be 23188

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately the log file I posted is not the original one i tried with Beta2 usb after transferring the backup files (3) to it and using restore=1, backup=1. if memory serves, it had multiple faiked hash tests and did not restore. I then used the alpha Usb to restore=1...

I did exactly that, trust me. There were three back up files that i placed in the beta2 backup folder. the hash errors still resulted so i thought maybe the stock files didn't restore. then used the alpha usb to restore only. confirmed stock carplay, then tried beta2 again with just patch...

Good thinking...alpha is better than stock I really wanted to try 30fps instead of 60fps. I don't mind the menu bars.

spray some silicone on your sway bar bushing. Try to move the end links and make sure there is no play. Check your spring perches and make sure the isolators are in the proper position.

It has the OEM plugs. That unit is plug n play.

Could just be the headlight switch. I've seen plenty of my city's LEO PIUs display headlights with or without the amber both in the day or at night.

Yes, you have the FADA leak. They won't care about the tune... it is a known issue. Definitely get it fixed before powertrain warranty ends. Try to get them to do the FADA TSB and not just replace the faulty O-ring.

I used two. One for the jailbreak, the other for the daemon. Once you know the jail break was successful (logos and install info displayed after daemon tools USB inserted), you can just overwrite with the Tools and the Fullscreen Mod using the same two USBs. As was mentioned in the thread...

It's called Mavlou and bought a few months ago--previously was pretty solid with very few disconnects. Now I'm not sure that's the problem though. I just had two disconnects in a short period of time WIRED. It'll disconnect from Carplay and then 3-4 seconds later will reconnect like nothing...
