Backup Assist, Hill Start, Advance Trac, AWD Fault...

Amazing you were still on your first battery! My first one lasted about 19 months or 17K miles. Now I've been on the second battery for about 34K miles or 3 years.

Key fob lost power on me

The vehicle is supposed to warn you that the FOB is low on battery. At least that's what my 2013 Lincoln did. Sometimes mine says key not detected if it's behind my wallet in my front pocket.

    Key Fob Question

I've never replaced my batteries in the fobs but I get it sometimes if my fob is behind my fat wallet, which has the data protection inside of it, which blocks certain frequencies.

    "Clack" Sound In Reverse

If I had every noise on this thing addressed under warranty, my car would always be in the shop. I've accepted a long time ago that this vehicle is not well-designed or built and was brought to market way too soon. Every day I hear and feel something new literally from the powertrain, axles...

    Code P051D

Low speed acceleration is not smooth almost feels like it's stalling sometimes and you can feel the torque going to the front even on a light throttle tap. The power delivery is just not smooth anymore. They reset PCM after the repair/deletion of the FADA. I think they missed some step in the...

    Code P051D

My car drives like shit now for the past month after the FADA "upgrade." Next oil change I'm gonna have them look at it again. No tunes, bone stock here.

    Wipers stopped..inoperable!!

Hopefully you still have the 3/36 warranty or an extended one.

    Explorer Grille/Brush Guard

I'm not putting a chastity belt on my Rapid Red ST. She's allowed to have fun in front and her trailer hitch is also exposed. She's not an STI afterall.

    Leaking transmission

Mine was rebuilt at 25K miles and now I'm at 50K miles. There's a TSB for the 6-7 gear shift problem and A Clutch and clamp replacement.

    New SYNC Update 23188

That's the Infotainment Anti-Christ! LMAO It made me raging mad for about 5 long months last year!

    New SYNC Update 23188

I bet your on Sync 3.4 version 22251. Your temporary file folder gets filled up and you run out of memory. That's when all the problems you described and others start to appear. After suffering through it from April to September of last year, when the update was released... My memory problems...

    Auto Up Windows

This was a feature on my 2013 Lincoln MKZ. i could hold down unlock to pop the sunroof and lower all 4 windows with the one touch. Then I could hold down the lock to close all 4 windows and close the sunroof and sunshade! I had the panoramic (HUGE) one piece class roof.

    Window Oddity

I had the auto up feature cancel so I had to "relearn" it by closing and holding the button down a few seconds. I also noticed the window will stop going up when auto-start kicks in say at a drive thru as you're driving away.

    updated forscan spreadsheet???

They're not adaptive on my 2020 ST just auto-highbeam. Maybe adaptive only on the Platinum and Aviator. My 2010 and 2013 MKZ had adaptive headlights which swiveled with the steering wheel direction. Kinda cool but I don't really miss that. The only time I wish I had it is on a really dark exit...

    updated forscan spreadsheet???

Our gauge display is one I've seen not only on Explorer but also the Escape, Focus, Puma, etc. that are available in other countries as well since 2020 model year. I think ours was their global graphics display at the time for their mainstream models. F Series pickups and Mustangs don't share...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Mine never comes on when parking in forward That's what the camera button on the dash is for and I use it almost daily when parking. Does yours not have that camera button on the center stack?

    Transmission help

Whatever it is it sounds serious like a failed transmission. 2020's are known for that. Mine was rebuilt at about 25K miles. I still have 9K left on powertrain and bought an extended full PremiumCare warranty from Ford until 85K miles or 84 months. I hope you still have powertrain warranty which...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Other brands do that too even some premium ones. I see that almost every day. Acura MDX and others for years would have LED accents stripes with incandescent brake and turn lamps in the back of the stripes! That looks even weirder. Kinda like cars that had HID headlights with incandescent fog or...

    Leaking oil?

My CV boots were replaced last year because I saw grease splattered all over the front suspension and some on my driveway. This axle thing was because I had shuttering and noise on turns and errors popping up on the screen for 4wd and other things.

    Leaking oil?

I had mine done last week. So far so good. I think the PCM was reset too. I noticed it started driving smoother about a week after the work was done. I think about 2 or 3 days ago I noticed an improvement. When I first picked it up, I could feel and even hear the front axle connecting and...
