Well unfortunately that’s the only way to do it. Forscan is pretty straightforward to use, all you need is a semi-simple understanding of computers.

Forscan can program the car to go to last used setting, which you can set as off with the dial.

Where did you find the rear door modules? Mine only opens the front windows (from factory) and did not close them. I can close them now but thought it odd that the rear windows did not follow. I found easy mode once by accident... how do I find it again?

I did the keypad via FDRS in the end. BUT I DID GET GLOBAL WINDOW CLOSE TO WORK via remote using FORScan by using the “easy mode” and setting all the rear window global close settings to match the fronts. Voila!

That can actually be disabled in forscan. All of these settings can be changed in fact.

No I never had the fake engine noise I just wanted to be able to see out the front cameras while I was driving but the speaker issue cleared up and I've been to nervous to change it back since my speakers popped and crackled pretty bad
