Forgot this part. My dealer after reading GTP’s post stated the part number for my problem which is exactly the same is LB5Z14C689H.

Spoke to my dealer today and they claim that is not the same module that is causing my same issue. Then I spoke to ford Corp. I finally got to someone that actually made sense. Waiting to hear back from them on Monday. They promised they would get to the bottom of this. I’ve been waiting...

Thanks for the update! I still haven’t heard a word on my module. Like they said earlier, they couldn’t tell me if they could fix it by the end of the year. Not a joke! One more time, I’m sure glad I like this vehicle. Happy you got yours handled! Jim

I paid a local muffler shop in S/W Fl. 150.00. Great job!

That’s it. Just got tired of the fake engine noise. More than likely use it for other things down the road.

Installed my S type. I guess I’m getting to old but if it was a hair quieter I would like it better. That being said, I still like it better than stock. Plus it looks a hell of a lot better! Jim

Haven’t rode in a new explorer with Steeda spring to compare but the H&R’s didn’t diminish the ride quality around town at all and the ride and tracking on the highway is phenomenal compared to stock. Going to order the Steeda sway bar next week! Jim

Lucky you! Talked to Ford and my dealer today. Refused to give me a clue when. Glad someone is getting taken care of. I was actually out looking at new cars yesterday. Congrats!

Same module problem. Same answer they don’t have one and don’t have a clue when they will be able to get one. I’m sure glad I like this thing so much!! Jim
