20ST Driver Heated Seat Not Working

Replace the heating pad. It's about $15 and an hour of your time.

    Battery issues 2020

you getting deep sleep notifications as well or does it just die. Early 2020s have had issues with deep sleep and module firmware updates was the solution. But if this is a recent thing, you might have something else going on. i would keep it on a trickle charger for he time being as you are...

Need advice: Transmission issues on 2020 Ford Explorer, P0772 code

I would call Ford customer service and beg for some good will. Ford has had issues with 10R60s and 10R80s. Maybe they will help defray the cost or even comp you.

    Driving Mode Memory Module

Yup! I think it's great! Weather has been bad the past couple of weeks--I've left it in slippery mode. It's really nice not to have to set mode every car start.

    Weather Tech window shields

I've tried both. Prefer nothing to be honest.

Question about 2025 st window stickers

I'd go through both and cross off features. If something isn't listed, more than likely, it is not equiped. I don't think the second one has multicontour seats for instance.

    JXB bushing insert

Just a pic showing thread markings. The upgraded bolt on the left was removed from passenger side mount with JXB insert. The other two are OE bolts from passenger side and driver side respectively with no JXB inserts. As anticipated, the bolts with the JXB inserts do not thread into the diff...

    JXB bushing insert

Even though the deceleration whine isn't as loud as it was (for whatever reason), I still plan to remove the JXB inserts (on my 4 bolt) next chance I get. I don't notice any benefits and there are some unanswered questions in my mind. Like what does stiffening the rear do to the front of the...

    Leaking oil?

By all means, contact Ford customer service to see if they will pay for it out of good will. This is a known problem and Ford should have recalled all Explorers which used this substandard O-ring--basically all 2020 and most 2021. If you get no love, do what I did and seal that puppy up...

    JXB bushing insert

So with a stock setup, you go to your dealer and say you think it has a bad pinion bearing. There is no noise. What do you think their response is going to be? Let me tell you. They are going to say they hear no noise, there is no signs of oil leak from the seals. They are not going to do a...

    JXB bushing insert

No way any dealer is going to address diff bearing issues if the noise is only when you have aftermarket parts on and nonexistent when you remove all that stuff.

Shouldn't you compare with the BMW X7 though to be fair?

Yet another amber DRL post…daytime only?

https://www.explorerst.org/threads/interceptor-amber-drls-on-explorer-st.1559/page-6#post-94110 The above will eliminate the stock white DRL strip altogether. The turn signal will be DRL in daylight only but will still work for turns. At night, only the headlights are on and the turn signals...

Water leak passenger side carpet wet. 2020 St.

Dayemm.... Sounds like wheel well cleaning needs to be added to regular maintenance lists! That's crazy!

    Voltage/battery management issue

I bet that rear hatch leak destroyed the ACM: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2023/MC-10238283-0001.pdf

    Adaptive Learning Transmission Disabled

You can disable it via Forscan. Not sure but I've read that Ford got rid of the skip shift in later calibrations, so much smoother driving experience. I think the best thing MY2020-2021 can do is update any and all modules that have firmware updates.

    Additional Tune

It's all up to you. Some have money lying around. Others aren't shooting for the best Dragy numbers or going for drag strip times. If it were me, I'd be happy with the 91 tune and using 93 octane gas.

    Spark Plug lifespan

Do it. Spark plugs may be fine but gap widens. It's kind of a pain so just put in new plugs.

Spark plugs. What do you use?

Just buy from a reputable retailer. There are counterfeits out there.

    BeyondEOD's ST Build Thread

I only got deceleration noise when I installed JXB inserts on my 2-bolt. So you are still getting noise (albeit less) after you removed the AWR brace and JXB insert? That's kind of alarming.
