Magnaflow Exhaust On 2021 Explorer ST

Other things I have gleaned, over time, regarding the Magnaflow #19515 exhaust system. Multiple vehicles I have seen with this exhaust system (equipped with SPD downpipes) have the tail pipes sticking out about an extra half inch versus this system with OEM downpipes. With OEM downpipes the...

    Cleaning Front Grill

I drive 14 miles to a small town carwash. It is the old fashion wand type car wash that is well maintained and has high pressure, lots of soap, decent temperature and a no-spot rinse. The drive on the way home dries the majority of the vehicle. I only have to spray down the rear door and bumper...

    No Good Deed Goes Unpunished

Thought I would stop by Wendy's to grab my wife  a salad. That's the good deed. There was a magnetic explorer ST in front of me in the drive-thru that climbed the curb with the rear driver side wheel as he pulled forward from the speaker. Hope his wheel is ok (see other wheel damage...

    Official Curbing Thread

Suspect the innocent pre-teen or teenager every time. If your childless then it's paranormal. Try slapping $4000 worth of new wheels on it. I will not drive within 12 inches of a curb now. And forget driving thru the smart-car-width lanes at the bank. Not worth the chance.

Anyone know this part number for the passenger turbo air inlet tube ??

Yes I also thought the hose may be too rigid to bend but thought I would at least give it a try.

    Ellie the Explorer

Does it have a drone on the highway in 9th and 10th gear in the 1600 to 2000 rpm range?

Anyone know this part number for the passenger turbo air inlet tube ??

No smog checks here unless burning the fields count. Drilled the hole for the UPR catch can connection a bit too far to the right and its touching the computer cable harness more than I would like.

    Magnaflow or Borla?

I previously had the Borla S-type and it had zero drone. I purchased the Borla before the Magnaflow was available. I personally prefer the lower tone of the Magnaflow setup. I currently have the Magnaflow system with stock downpipes. I mainly drive in town and/or on the urban freeways say 70 to...

Magnaflow Exhaust On 2021 Explorer ST

Does it drone near 2000 rpm? Stock, Borla S-type and Magnaflow #19515.

    Custom 3” Downpipes & Exhaust

Just add the resonators to the existing setup.

    Installed the Whipple IC yesterday

Looks like you only got pissed once (see wall).

    Custom 3” Downpipes & Exhaust

Magnaflow #19515 - revisting the remaining 2000 rpm drone. Magnaflow sent me two #14156 resonators to address the issue. What do you expect the resulting tone changes will be if I install these two resonators? A frequency change that just shifts the drone rpm range or actual drone elimination...

    Wheels Have been Made!

Gorilla 96643BDX wheel locks fit perfectly with the BG Forged wheel. Here are a few photos showing the candy burgundy center cap and Magnaflow 19515 exhaust.

    Wheels Have been Made!

Candy Burgundy center caps really pop !! I will try them out first but I am still taking the gloss black ones with me in case the red ones look weird. One can always swap them out at the next tire rotate and balance if needed.
