Yea that seems like a pretty good deal, maybe @Pepperonipizza for some reason thought it was ONLY the $1500 voucher?

    Chip on left fender

If it was dirt in paint, or some other scenario in which the paint was unbroken I would be more willing to let it go. I do agree 100% with you, I have a pretty good knowledge and understanding of OEM paint and paint repair processes. Maybe the best route would just be a touch up paint pen. I'm...

    Chip on left fender

I'm definitely going to get it covered under warranty, I just understand that some dealers are more willing to reject a warranty claim than others are, and the dealer I am thinking about taking it to it one of those, only because it is by far the closest dealer to me

    Ram TRX is here

I like the truck, I found the guy presenting to be a little too fake excited. It's an exciting truck, but I felt like he was pumping up something he didn't believe in. That's not the point of the video, but I found it really distracting haha

    New Indiana ST owner!

Nice, I wanted that exact same one, but my wife only likes neutral (I.e. boring) colors. It’s an awesome vehicle, congrats Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Chip on left fender

Not sure if this is the correct sub section to post paint issues, but here it goes. I have had my ExST for about 2 weeks now and it has about 650 miles on it, I just found a chip in the paint on the left fender between the door and fender. I was unsure if anyone else had this issue. I have a...

Keep your eye in the spare tire compartment for leaks

Interesting, on the exp/nav the drain tube runs down the C-pillar and it was immediately evident that there was a leak coming from the sunroof area. I’m surprised it made its way all the way back to the D-Pillar, but I also know nothing about the sheet metal and inner workings of the 2020...

Keep your eye in the spare tire compartment for leaks

Haha, it actually has to do with the inability to cure in the various ovens in paint. It is designed to expand when heated and if the d-pillar does not get hot enough or if there are material issues that prevent it from expanding properly (the issue is usually the latter not the former), then...

    Dealership Undercoating

Fair enough. I suppose I could see why you'd be more concerned. I always wondered how effective getting something like Line-X or Rhino liner would be on the underbody. That's probably the route I would go if I ever needed it.

    Dealership Undercoating

I've never lived further north than central Illinois, so take what I say with a grain of salt. With all of the anti-corrosion technology used in OEM automotive, I do not believe an undercoat is necessary. As long as there is no existing break in the e-coat, there isn't much need to use...

Keep your eye in the spare tire compartment for leaks

Yes, but when it’s an intermittent issue, it’s hard to catch. Not every single vehicle gets every single test. That would take more time and money than Ford is willing to spend. It’s cheaper to fix the few vehicles that have issues than to test every single one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
