    I can't wait

You were right, we are twins. Same color and no roof or rails on mine either.

    Looking for an Exhaust setup...

I was super happy with my Gibson axle back. Had a deep tone that wasn’t obnoxious when you’d get on it, and it didn’t have any drone. Also one of the cheapest options out there.

    Finally lowered it.

I have no experience with the others, but I have the Steeda springs and mine rides just like stock of not a little better. I also like the little bit of rake that’s left in it.

Thermal 2.5 vs Borla Type S

That’s how the Gibson axle back was when I had it installed on my ST. Really liked the way it sounded!

    Debating on Fords Extended Warranty

I bought mine after the fact from the site (dealership) below. I did some research and found them to be the cheapest…and significantly cheaper than what my dealership was offering it for. https://grangerfordextendedwarranty.com/

    Lowering your Explorer ST!

Thank you! I wasn’t sure if they’d be low enough for me and I started to have doubts before we installed them, but I’m really happy with the way it turned out. I also like the little bit of rake in it for when I have to hook the trailer up to it.. Exhaust is Thermal 2.5” with CVF downpipes.

    Lowering your Explorer ST!

I wanted to do 1” in the front, but didn’t like the idea of cutting the studs, so I planned on doing 1.25” all the way around. But they stuck out too far for my liking in the front, so I left them off.

    Lowering your Explorer ST!

Here’s mine with Steeda springs and Steeda 1.25” spacers in the rear only.

    Took the Plunge

Congrats on the purchase, and welcome. My ST is the exact build and color as yours.

    Thermal 2.5" vs 3"?

Haven’t heard the 3” in person, but just installed the 2.5” with CVF downpipes on mine and absolutely love it. Great sound, not too loud, and no drone.

Nice! Mine is going on this week and I can’t wait!

Is everyone ok with the giant tablet and terrible bezel?

I don’t mind the size of the screen or that it looks like it doesn’t belong, but I hate Sync3 and the layout of the cameras. Probably wouldn’t bother me if it weren’t for the fact that I spend more time in my Lightning (old MME pictured) that got it right.

    Tinted ST pictures

I just had them match it to the rear. So that's somewhere between 20-30% based on what I've read the stock tint is.
