Just had a thermal 3” installed last week and modified to work with spd down pipes and today snapped the drivers side down pipe. Good thing the perfectly good mid pipes that would fit with cvf down pipes were cut up and now will no longer work.

Yea you definitely wont save any money trading the mpg for lower prices and twice as many fill ups. If youre not concerned with power why even switch? Could buy a lot of 93 for the cost of the HPFP and injectors.
