Very disappointed in my ST and the oil smell???

They replaced our oil pan for the oil smell on our 2020. It still has a slight smell, they also dyed the oil, so we'll see how that goes. Will have them check it when the new backup cam comes in.

Squeaking noise coming from lowering springs

I couldn't agree more. I'd want to be reimbursed labor cost for both spring swaps and would just buy a set of Steeda and call it a day.

High Mileage Explorer STs check in!

54k on 2020, just had the drivers cat replaced and the oil pan replaced, it was leaking near the left front of the pan. Still smell burning oil on the drivers side on occasion. Dealer claims there is no more oil residue from the pan leak and that it was cleaned, tech is a riding buddy, so I will...

    Exhaust smell

Our drivers side cat was cracked halfway around at the weld, replaced under warranty. While there, they replaced the oil pan, it had a leak at the left front of the pan. Did the PCM update and the parking brake auto on thing, no big deal, just touchthe gas and it releases.

    Exhaust smell

On a cold morning start, it sounds like a car with 14 exhaust leaks, it gets quiet as it warms up. You can look under the car and see the white condensation/exhaust coming from the center of the car. When you do a hard pull, we have to roll the windows down because the smell is so strong. Ours...

    Is the Ford Tune noticable?

You might be right, but I've never joined a forum to tell someone I wasn't going to use a tune.

    Exhaust smell

Just made an appointment to drop ours off for the cats/smell issue and the ridiculous donkey kick downshifts from 3rd to 2nd gear.

    Ford Performance Tune

Yeah, I read a little bit then got bored. TBH, if the boss lady wants a tune it would be the Ford tune, she bought it used and it has some long ass Ford ESP warranty on it. If it was my daily, I would go ZFG, just send it and hope it stayed together.

    2020 Engine issues

That's not what he said, he's giving you a brief timeline, stating an oil change at 23k miles. No where does he mention his FIRST oil change at 23k miles. He then states at ~28k miles, it was at a dealership and a multi-point inspection didn't recommend or require an oil change. Fast forward...

Auto octane, and how to choose what's right for you!

Your ECU will adjust for the lower octane, FPP will not sell a tune that "LOCKS" you into premium fuel.

    Mishimoto Intercooler Install Issues/Observations

Makes me wonder if Ford changed something on the 22 model, I didn't see any issues in the other thread.

    History Repeats itself - GRRRRRRR!!

Just ask them for lifetime oil changes on the vehicle, at least that way you can be sure to get your engine bay detailed every 3rd oil change.
