i only ran it in the firmest setting for a couple of hours while i was testing. but during that time i was pushing HARD, trying to get the truck to oversteer. when i crawled under to swap back to the middle hole, i didn't notice any nicks or scratches on the springs or the tip of the bar.

For those interested, here is some pics of clearance with the Steeda springs. As you can see there is loads of room. No contact. I was in the first batch of bars as well, fyi.

the solution is the various catch cans that are available for direct injected engines. the carbon buildup comes from oil vapor that is recirculated back into the intake. a catch can condenses that oil vapor and deposits it somewhere else.

Before you go water/meth you should talk to Adam about his stage 3/4 turbo upgrades. i need you to be my guinnea pig. :-) hpfp and his stage 3 kit i think would help make a more "tangible" difference to the powerband than an injection system. and as of right now are my next "in queue" wish list...

If all you want is a notification that the alarm was triggered, the FordPass app does that. Also provides GPS location of the vehicle. Thats going to be your easiest solution. As far as actual "security" systems go where you can have the vehicle remotely shut down or anything... no too familiar...

can verify, steeda springs and bar here. no contact. but i agree with @UNBROKEN why even have the third hole. just cut it off or bend the flanges out a bit more and give yourself alot more room to work with.

I likewise solved my fake engine noise with the Borla ATAK. I'm sure the noise is still there but I can no longer hear it. [rockon]

@SleeperST is right @SVTLX , everyone with build dates in 2020 have been really good as far as we can tell. my late march build has been flawless.

you know... without the roof rails, the roofline looks way better. i wrapped my roof because i didn't like the lines, but without the rails, the lines are MUCH better. looks sharp man.

i will echo this assessment. between the on-hood rebates from Ford, the 0% financing, and the desparate dealers during the height of COVID, i still feel like i stole my ST even compared to the revised pricing.
