I to reset the BMS about 3 months ago. Since doing that Mine has been working as it should including the ASS working. Some will see that as an issue but it tells me that resetting the BMS helped. Right now my battery is getting clost to 5 years old.

I doubt much changed. Not worth paying for in my opinion. i choose to use Google maps.

I doubt it is a DIY repair. An auto glass shop would need to do I am sure.

I have my doubts that a sheet of plywood will fit in any SUV. Sounds like he needs a long bed pickup.

I'm sure that the 3.31 rear end was for the Platinum. The ST has the 3.58 That Ford Pro site also says it has a limited slip rear end which is wrong as the ST has has an open rear end.

I think all the lights run through the BCM. I have seen posted where you can reset the BCM. To do this disconnect the battery cables . Then touch them together to drain any remaining current. After that wait a few minutes and connect the cables. It might work and is worth a try I think . Good luck.

The ST does not have a limited slip differential.

That is a soft reset. To do a hard reset you need to go into the setting screen until you come to the one that says reset. This doesn't hurt to try though. @smenard415 do you know what SYNC version you are on? The newest one is 23188. 22251 caused a lot of issues.

22251 is the one that caused issues. Good luck with it.

https://www.ford.com/support/sync-maps-updates/ Follow the directions to update with the USB. I would not bother trying to do it using wifi. In fact you may want to turn off automatic updates.

I would just go into settings and turn it off. I don't think it's worth getting upset about it.

I'm not sure if this will help but it might be worth trying. Turn off the automatic updates on the Explorer. Then reformat a flash drive and start a new download. And then try updating again.

What is the SYNC version you are on? 23188 is the newest and solved a lot of issues the prior version caused. .
