    Wireless charging pad

My IPhone 12 Pro Max with a thin wall case fits in the charger. I believe the location is to prevent distracted driving.

    Sync Up Dates

I don’t understand why Ford, doesn’t simply provide Sync upgrades on a thumb drive. I would be happy to pay for that. Maybe some enterprising computer proficient individual would be willing to offer up the up dates on thumb drives for a nominal fee?

    Myth or Truth?

And Ford rhymes with Lord. So I’m guessing it isn’t a big leap of faith!

What don't you like about your ST?

I wish there was an easier way to perform the updates for the sync system. If ford offered the USB thumb drive with the updates for a nominal price that would be good.

    Wireless charging pad

Update. I received the case for the IPhone 12 Pro Max. It is 0.30mm thick. I placed it in the charging pad. It is still a little snug but actually stays in place and charges.

    Wireless charging pad

So, I looked at it more closely yesterday. I was able to force the IPhone 12 Pro Max with the leather apple case down against the charging pad, but, it was very tight. I think opening up the frame 1/16” should be enough so that it will fit nicely. Or, find a thinner skin/case for the phone...

    Wireless charging pad

The 12 XS Max fits without a case. But, even the Apple leather case makes it slightly too big. If there was a way to slightly modify the wireless charging frame that would be great.

    JACK POINTS

I have used this and I love it! Just be careful you don’t forget it because it has a strong magnet! https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B078J55SBW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_44tZFbPWQ753S?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

    JACK POINTS

If you look at the bottom of the rocker panel immediately behind the front wheels and in front of the rear wheels you will find (Triangle) arrow. This is the location on the pinch weld where you place your lift jack.

Driver Lower Seat Panel - Outboard Side

My understanding is the side panels were somehow mounted lower than intended. The fix was to replace the clips and mount it higher. So far it seems to be working on my explorer.

    JACK POINTS

No. They dealer (i know, I know) should know exactly where to place their Jack’s. These I would suggest are for the home mechanic type. I found it helps to locate and stabilize the lift when I use my floor jack.

    JACK POINTS

They have magnets so they would stay in place, if you happen to forget them there. But I don’t think they would remain there permanently.

    JACK POINTS

get yourself one of these. Once you locate the spot at the pinch welds it makes it a little easier to locate the floor Jack.... POTAUTO Universal Aluminum Grooved Magnetic Jack Pad Jacking Puck Pinch Weld (0.39) Inch Frame Rail Adapter (Qty 1, Red)...

    JACK POINTS

If you get down beneath the vehicle you will find arrows pointing to where you can place the jack. Just behind the front wheels and just in front of the rear wheels.

Driver Lower Seat Panel - Outboard Side

Ford in Canada replaced/repaired mine under warranty. The tech at the dealership said their was some sort of technical notice from Ford on the problem.
